Ashland DEVO is committed to teaching mountain bike skills to the youth of Ashland and Southern Oregon. We emphasize comradery, resiliency, and teamwork as we teach riding skills in the natural environment. We are raising funds to help us establish our program. Initial fundraising will focus on helping our already talented coaches achieve Bicycle Instructor Certification Program (BICP) Level 1, a nationally recognized standard in coaching. Other areas we are focusing our funds on is the development of beginner mountain bike infrastructure in the Ashland area. With additional funds, we will be able to create more kids’ specific mountain bike classes through the spring of 2020 when Ashland DEVO officially launches!
